Requires 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. 32-bit Windows is not supported. Not sure? Open Settings > System > About and check “System type”: it should say 64-bit operating system.

Run the installer. The wizard offers English or Turkish.
Create your account with an e-mail address you can open: a verification code is sent to it.
On first start the app offers to download price data. The starter pack takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes depending on your connection.
Updates arrive automatically; you will see an Update button.

Windows may warn you

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen can show “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway. If Smart App Control blocks the installer completely, you can turn it off in Windows Security > App & browser control (this is a one-way switch in Windows). You can also verify the file before running it:

Uninstall

Settings > Apps > Installed apps > BackTest Studio > Uninstall. Your downloaded data and settings are kept, so a reinstall does not start from zero.
